Update - Black shark is getting big and fat, mostly thicker and taller more than length but he's probably a good 5" and 3-4x heavier and thicker than my Rainbow but only an inch longer......so about 3" of growth in 8 months since he was 1.5"-2" when I got him

Lol, exactly how I thought of my black shark I used to have....that he was a butthead. But he was cool too.

I imported a small little guy this summer on a fish shipment for a store I was working at. He wasn't growing till about a month and a half ago. He has out on about an inch and a half or so since then and is a bit rowdy already in my six footer. I'll be upgrading next month to an eight foot so he should continue to maintain his growth.

Food preference is algae wafers and zucchini first, frozen mysis shrimp and krill, then new life spectrum pellets. Won't touch any other dry food, but will munch on other frozen.

Where do u get live blood worms? U sure they weren't BLACK worms?

So roughly 3" per year?

Have one that is 2 inches, get really big but grow slow. They are also very aggressive.
