Cleaning Monster Wood for the 240

drift wood has been in the tank for about 3 months now and is doing great! havent had any problems but it still has not sunk!

will drift wood from the ocean raise pH in your tank? I know shells and things like that from the ocean do. also what kind of things did you do to the wood to make it ready for the aquarium? all i knew to do was boil it and let it sink

Well I haven't really noticed a raise in ph It prob depends on the type of wood though.

And all I did was pressure spray it really good a couple of times and The boil it in my hot tub for about a week or so then I let it dry out for about 4 months

Time haha. It took about 6 months. Its still not all the way sunk. But almost there.
