When Live aquaria used to post me Divers Den freshwater fish every day, I followed them for years and saw maybe 2-3 oddball clown loaches in the groups they posted. I wish I had room for them when I saw them go up.
The Bioaquatix breeder in Florida used to have a special section for odd balls. I don't think they can keep up with the demand bc they are always out of stock of their regular tank raised clowns. (This farm has been featured in a Aquarium Coop video, that's how I first found out about them a few years ago )
