Making a trip to Lake Oneida to ice fish for bowfin soon, there was an ice tourny in the usually spot around here (Buffalo boat harbor) so all the good ones are gone from that area. Over 200 people participated, I had to work :/
Got some cold yak fishing in new years day, drifted down a river casting to the sides, got some good sized (round 10 inch or so) pike and bullhead. No pics though wasn't trusting my phone out there haha.

Caught a 19 inch red drum and a couple stingrays down in Florida a couple days ago offa dock in port saint Lucy without a pole just threw a line in with a big hook and half a prawn

Iced conesus lake here in NY yesterday for about 11 hours. Lost count of bluegills 7" and under. One nice largemouth on the jiggin rod and on the tip ups got a nice 11lb pike about 36". Not bad but slower than expected.

Got exactly the same and I'f you look from left till right.
Then I caught the most fish with number 1,3,2 en then 4.
I'm really excited to see what kind of ''damage'' these things do in the US.
Because I can honestly tell that this is the most used lure in Holland for the last 3/4years and for good reason.
Let me know what you catch on these babies and good luck!

I'll definitely be posting what I catch on them! I'm really excited to try them out because I was looking around on some of the muskie forums and couldn't find anything on the lure, so I'm assuming that not many people here in the US have even heard of this lure, and I'm sure that the fish around here certainly have yet to see one of these, so I'm hoping they'll be extra curious!
I usually don't get to go fishing until late February or early March whenever the ice melts as I don't have any interest in ice fishing. but it has been in the high 40s lately and some of the ponds have melted so I might try and get out there tomorrow and catch some bass. But I am really looking forward to this year of fishing and hope I catch a new personal best. Hope everyone else has a very successful 2014 and catch some monsters!
