Was up in Potter County PA this weekend and had the best trout fishing trip this year so far! Fished the creeks for about 10 hours nonstop on Saturday (other than a 5 minute break for a granola bar) and got 23 Brook Trout, all wild non-stocked fish, all on fry flies. Most were around 3-4" but I got a 10" monster towards the middle of the day! I'll argue with any bass fisherman that these fish are even harder to catch because being wild they're smarter as far as knowing what they think is actually food and if they hear or see you they're gone in a blink. Then went to Kettle Lake (still same area) on Sunday and caught 4 Rainbow Trout (12", 14", 18", and 20") and 2 Golden Rainbows (20" and a monster 26" 8 pounds). Great weekend of fishing and I might go back at the end of there month.
