Do you have an ammonia test or a nitrite test kit?

Numbers from those will help.

You have a bacteria bloom but we need to know tank parameters

No I don't have a test kit and I found the problem. It was my substrate. I didn't vacuum it good enough

no not like the new sand type of stuff. the waste that accumulates when not vacuuming it

Really? I just into this around 06 so not that long. I'll usually go between 50 fathoms Jefferson feed and causeway pets main place is the first. Idk of any others except the chain stores. If you know any places I should check out around here lmk
