Pretty nice here, mid 60s in the morning, 80s during the day. It was 90 something yesterday.

I couldn't help but chuckle at that, "no precipitation for at least 60 min". A similar caption over here in blighty, the way we're going, would read something like, "no sunshine for at least 60 months!" Lol.
The closest I’ve ever gotten to the equator is a drive by near some corn fields in Iowa.

I live about an hour north of Winnipeg, which touts itself as the geographic centre of North America...the Canuckuator, more or less. There will still be a couple dozen days this summer that will be...by my standards...unbearably hot...and not one will even approach 40C.
