how do fish get stunted in the wild?? what do they look like when they are stunted? IMO, the body proportion of my fish looks natural.

Is water change an super important factor for healthy fast growing bichirs?

would temperature be a factor?? i currently have it at 80 degrees (76 during the colder months). Is that too cold?? i now heard that bichirs need 85 degrees!

what's the ideal temp?

That's not too cold. In the winter, my tank is 76-78. Summer around 82-88. Waterchange is important. Have you ever tested your water params?

do your bichirs get tired of the food your feed and ignore it?? I only feed them sinking pellets and shrimp. Not enough nutrients?

They only do so if I forget to do a waterchange. I only feed my bichirs, thawed frozen fish. I don't feed pellets.
