oh i love those, asides from the fact they get huge and chomp everything(including your fingers) in half...it's just a bad idea to have so many different kinds of potentially huge preds in a tank you havent got yet, cycling takes time too, if you're going for gars, id suggest you stick to gar-friendly tankmates such as bichirs, african arowanas, other gars maybe arowana(i've found this works more than it doesn't). big cats, pacus(generally) snakeheads and aggressive cichlids generally dont do well as gar tankmates.

they been living with each other for almost 7 months already
i thought if a fish has other alternative to feed on instead of chasing or trying to kill its tank mates it will show no aggression towards its tank mates thats why i make sure that there is a constant supply of feeders in their tank. also if they grow together.

what about the lions and tigers? their instinct is to hunt and kill to survive right, but when they were raised in captivity and has steady supply of food they got tamed right? cant that theory be used to fish?demjor19;1789950; said:
