Thanks wednesday, some people just dont expand past their own little bubble. Now that thats cleared up.

Worked a little in the shed today, 84 degrees in there, talk about sweating balls.

Made the stand, 8'x4'x10"

Start of the tank, it is upside down here, all those screws go into a 8x2"x10"
20150101_163648 by smetters20, on Flickr

Glued the 2x10's to the plywood then put screws in
20150101_172451 by smetters20, on Flickr

The side the window is going to be, hence the 2x4 turned down
20150101_173117 by smetters20, on Flickr

The back side, will have a 2x10 on the bottom and 2x10 at top

As far as I got today. 501 gallons to be exact. Dam thing is huge, shed sits on a slab but they put "joists" on top of that and put plywood over, sure as hell hope it holds this!

And so people understand what wednesday is talking about, and what my filtration currently looks like (I use filter socks for mech only in a 5 gallon bucket)
Over the current fish 300gal home

This was a hoot to do with a circular saw
20150103_133600 by smetters20, on Flickr

Framed the window, done plexi in the past, glass eh I wanted a little something extra since I cant drill holes in it.
20150103_142547 by smetters20, on Flickr

Window test fit, I put a 2x6 at the bottom so the glass can sit on that without worry of it ever dropping.

Nice combo to get it to smell like chocolate!
20150104_174638 by smetters20, on Flickr

Prewarmed, SOO much easier to squeeze out
20150104_164451 by smetters20, on Flickr

I put a bead in between the liner and plywood to help stop movement
20150104_165706 by smetters20, on Flickr

Hard to see, flash is crap, no flash couldnt see nothing, put a thickish bead around the perimeter of the glass then smeared

Triple check for any air bubbles that were trapped, and remove them, you can see above the brace left and right
20150104_173758 by smetters20, on Flickr

Secured the liner on the window side, now it will sit until atleast wednesday then I shall check and perhaps start filling a little bit and get the liner smoothed out

I solved my problem with getting water into the shed while not having the door open.
8" galv nipple into a spigot HAHAHA. It just goes through the wall to the outside, which then I just hook up a garden hose.
Have a 10' hose inside to reach everything

Its only filled with about 10-11" of water, hot water tank ran out and I dont like the idea of pumping cold water in a warm tank. Fitted the liner, stapled it in place and put some 3mil plastic on top to take care of most of the evap. Needed some kind of access so I put down some gorilla duct tape then sliced down the middle to make a flap. Still pondering ideas on how to open and close the flap better. Right now I just used the duct tape and made "straps" that hold onto a screw on the front.

Really need to boost that hot water heater up so I can get longer warm water.

And I guess its cold outside, after shutting the water off, the 75' of hose I ran out the house froze in under 40min. Now its all in the bath tub waiting for me tmw.

Filled it up some more today, this water tank doesnt go very far in terms on hot water... or tanks just to big I dunno.

Brought the water thermometer and temp stayed around the same when adding water. I better insulated the door gap so now I cant see light through it, HOPEFULLY thats the reason why the tank isnt low/mid 70's, not sure what to expect with a 10" stand though. Room was sitting at 81°

Layed down some cermaic tile just to get a look (quick visual), since in other peoples tank it looks alright.... Me I dont like it, more than likely I will take it out then put it in the 300gal that the snappers being transferred into so his claws dont dig into the liner.
