I have a stingray which is beyond saving and I can't see it live anymore. It's not happy and stressed so I will put it out of it's misery. I was going to put it in a bin with a little water and some cod liver oil. Is this the best way to go? Seems the most humane to me. I need an answer soon as I plan to do this in the next hour.
Thanks.

how about you describe what is going on first. why is it stressed and whats going on? if its still breathing then there is a chance it can still be saved. come on snow dont give up all hope yet.

I have never heard cod liver oil I have heard clove oil. Hate to see any animal put down. Has the ray ever eaten for you? Any disk curl?

Clove oil or MS222 to put it down the easy way. They just drift "to sleep" as they shut down. Painless (from what we know). Freezer would do the same, just a bit slower.
