hey guys, can anyone tell me how many gallons is my tank? my tank is 48x18x18(well, it's 17.5) inches. i used the aquarium gallon calculator and it says 65. but wht do u guys say?
I see this on CL/kijiji all the time. Its like people forget what they bought and just type in the outer dimensions into a calculator.True gallons is inside measurements. Displacement gallons is outdide measurements. It makes a big difference on larger tanks.

yeah, i thought mine was a 120, and i was surprise tht it's only a 65 which pretty much looks big. and wht's the difference between the US gallons and UK gallons? The aquarium calculator here is as accurate as the measurements put in... So yeah, i guess other people were maybe told their tank were "x" gallons but never bothered to really double check / confirm
