Friends, after holding back for some time, thinking about whether to do or not, introducing FLASH.
He is 24K Golden Cross Back Asian Arowana, Grade R2. Certificate from Oriental Farm. Currently 9-10 Inches length.
My wait for almost 6 months, looking for my first Arowana, was over when he (not sure though is HE) landed in Bangalore Airport one midnight in Nov 2015.
Currently hosted him in a 6 feet tank with 2 Canister Filters, heater and lighting.
I would like to watch Flash on its natural colors, so running on natural lighting that came along with the aquarium.
I have fed him Live fish, Prawn slices, Dry Shrimps, Hikari sticks, AR G1 sticks, etc, in order of his preference. His current favorite is prawns (bought from regular fish-meat stores) and when I come to feed him he come running to my end and gulp the slices.
He doesn't like dry sticks, but I make sure that the sticks are inserted in the prawns slices and he doesn't realize eating them. but recently he learnt my trick and spits out the sticks from the last few pieces I give.
I feel like he start to recognize us and listen to us calling him 'FLASH'.
