Have you tested your water?
No
If I did not test my water...
...I recognize that I will likely be asked to do a test, and that water tests are critical for solving freshwater health problems.
Do you do water changes?
Yes
If I do not change my water...
...I recognize that I will likely be recommended to do a water change, and water changes are critical for preventing future freshwater health problems.
So I recently started a thread about bloating problem in my baby RTC which has Healed very quickly. But this is about my larger RTC . I noticed some discoloration on it and a swelling on tail side. Is it okay

it didn't have it before. will it going to be fine? will it even grow
I’m not sure. As long as it’s acting fine and your water is fine then I’d just leave alone. See if any other rtc keepers have any input.

Tail does look to have a kink deformity and tail itself actually looks “short” in that view compared to the length of the fish. I suspect that from a side view you may find a bit of a paddle tail going on.
Strange question but if it has only more recently appeared, Is it in with anything that may have broken the tail bone?
