got the top brace made and glued into place plus a few screws..




Had to up the filtration on the catfish tank ammonia levels have dropped still watching to see if plant filtration will keep up with the increased by product.

I have found a standard full size pothos vine to work so far will soon know if i need more

Sanding sucks!!

I was exited that I had finaly aplied the top coat of fiber glass. Untill I found a large air buble in it that i had some how missed during my inspection of the tank. I now need to back track and sand out the buble. But if i can get that done this weak i will be painting the inside this weakend if not sooner.

what are the screws for? it doesnt appear as there is anything below where you have screws?

The 2x4 going left to right has a chanel cut in it. to match with the bracing 2x4 acrost the top of the tank

Well update time
My plan was to have the tank painted by now and ready for glass this friday. But pregnant wives going into labor and Hospital stupidity put a big monkey wrench into that idea! So going to see how bad the paint smells tonight and setup fans to clear the air.

My secound son was 8 pounds 13 onzes Now its time to take care of all my other babies.

Will post up a pic or two once the paint is on.
