Sorry for the loss. My solution when I lose a specific pleco, is to get 2 more of the same kind.

haha, why do you think I have 2 green phantoms, 2 blue panaques, and two Sultan plecs?

Um, because you lost a green phantom, blue panaque, and a sultan? Hope I don't lose all of my fish at once though, it would be pricey to double the # tanks to keep all of those replacement pairs.
Obviously I like the idea of buying two more of ANY fish that might kick the bucket.

I have lost all three of those, and have replaced them with two of each.

I hope I don't have to replace my arowanas like that! 5 doubled up!
