Probably was. People are just now getting started trying them.

You'll really like next month's version I post... worked on it for the last year and it takes care of a lot of the things lacking in my current test version post.
I am very interested.... I am still procrastinating on my motorized one....

My 10G in the garage is still going strong. Removed the water filter and the small spinner runs on air bubbles.... Water is crystal clear with no water filter and three fish,,,Just an Algae scrubber... :)

Hello; If there should happen to be any value to the algae, the large public aquariums and perhaps fish farms could harvest it and eleminate a setup problem at the same time.

OK some growth pics...

Floyd R Turbo on the GIRS site:

And mine...

Great Growth on yours and his SM looks great.......... I finally got my design figured out..No tie wraps to cut, just slide it out and clean it.... Here are 2 vids of my progress so far.

Still need to paint it black and make a cover, and design my lights.

I have been running the tie wrap to a bubble bar in my 55G with one 3" flowerhorn for a month now. Water perameters are still perfect... NITRATES -- Zero
