Midas Cichlid then and now (pics)

I picked up a Midas from a store I worked at a while back. I've had the Midas for about 13 months now. Here are the pics from then till now.

also I'm thinking female still but not 100% sure.

Very cool progression of the color change. Even the eye changed color!

From the vent shot in the today photos it looks male.

hmmm I'd like to think of him as a male... There was once eggs in the tank who I suspected he laid.. But there has not been any since then. It may have been someone else.
