It's been awhile so I figured I'd add some current pictures:















I've been feeding him Grand Sumo Red, Omega One Cichlid, Almost Natural Cichlid Food, market shrimp, fresh Salmon, and Tilapia.

He's full of character and easily the most interesting, beautiful, and personable (although super aggressive) fish I've ever had the pleasure of owning.

Pretty much (early October). I'm extremely happy with his coloring considering I didn't really know much about choosing FH's when I bought him (for $9 from a lfs).

He's getting huge. I'll try to measure him tonight when I get home, but I'd say he's around 12". Wonder when these guys stop growing?

Wow !! just saw the new pics, you got yourself one heck of a FH,I love the face on this one. I wish mine had a cuter face rather than his mean looking face-lol

Did you swap your fh with a bigger & better looking one?? Hahaa j/k :grinno::grinno:
WOW is all I got to say.. he's a brute now, a good looking one too.. :headbang2:headbang2
This will be the encouragement for me to not give up on my $3.33 fh.. :popcorn:
