I'd say we are all ready to try just about anything to keep our silvers from getting dropeye, and this sounds like a better solution than ping pong balls. Personally I thought that looked stupid, big fish with a ping pong ball floating on top. What is it a seal?

I have yet to see one work yet...other than putting them in a pond.

i was tld by a guy to float polystyrene balls on the surface. did it and my silver looked at them every time he went past and it did seem to help. didnt stay in the house to long after i tried and had to get rid of him when i moved
