It's just a regular 20 tall with the rim taken off, I like it better without a rim, and my plans are to make it a reef but for now I only have 3 corals in there.

Here's the pictures, and a picture of my DIY protein skimmer. If you have ever seen this and thought it looks like a waste of time and it probably wouldn't work, it isn't and it really works well.

Things are looking pretty good.

I love the looks of lava rock - for a freshwater tank, its neat stuff, but unfortunately it takes forever for anything to want to grow on it.

Ill be following along, residents look happy. Care to post more detailed pics of your DIY skimmer - interesting idea there. Great for the nano people if it works.
