My laid-back African lungfish 2.5'

For comparison, here's my 3ft aethiopicus. Sorry about the mess. He just finished off 6 crayfish...
Ok. That last photo legitimately scared me. I don't want a lungfish anymore!

Update.

And just like that, in the span of two weeks, we lose both West Africans...
thebiggerthebetter thebiggerthebetter that's weird. Lungfish are generally extremely forgiving with water chemistry and very resilient to diseases.

Louie has been doing well and grew from under 2ft to about 2.5ft in the 1.5 years with us. He feeds well, as you will see from his round shape but he is slow to get to the feed:

New apurensis catfish 1ft attacks bullhead and Louie the SA lungfish under the cover of second night, who have to be moved then. The pbass, injured green terror, and large common pleco are fine and staying.
