-nice looking gar, welcome to the crew. also, keep an eye on those centrarchids with the gar...gar & sunfish combos (especially when sunfishes are that large) usually trend toward injuries, stress, and mortality. consider sunfishes as aggressive "north american cichlids". have seen this time and again, so keep an eye out in case splitting up the tankmates is not immediately practical.

still so far so good, i haven't noticed any problem at all with the sunnys, the big one can be a bit of a jerk but other than the first like 15 minutes after i put mr gar in no other fish in the tank has really seemed like they even know hes there, they just leave him alone
