I would drive an hour plus to get to a decent fish store but problem is, I don't have my driver's license, my parents have to drive me there and they don't like the long drives.
I would go to the good places if I could

More importantly than any of this talk about lfs', you should be quarantining ANY new fish from ANY where in a hospital tank BEFORE they go into your main tank for at least 2 weeks.

The problem that Petco, Petsmart, etc have is not the store and their practice, it's just inexperienced staff. The Petsmart by my place is really good and have really healthy ones but the Petstore has 1 and 2 dead ones per every other tank.
