It would go under the category of 'Mantilla' ray.
Mantilla is just a common name for a ray exported out of Brazil that has that pattern. Jose Mantilla and Richard Ross imported a number of these species in the early 90s.. The name Mantilla really has no substance behind other than a unidentified ray with a marbled pattern.
After some discussion on MFK, we came to find out that alot of the hybridized rays over in Asia, produce what looks to be Mantilla rays.. The conclusion was that Mantilla rays are wild caught hybridized rays, that are more frequent in certain river systems..
Either way, it's a Potamotrygon.. treat it like a Motoro, because it's care/attitude probably will most resemble that ray in the long run..
All these were called 'Mantilla' at one time too.. but are they all the same?
NOPE!
Just a common name for an unidentifiable wild hybrid..
