This was the deal:
I can spend a fortune on a new tank but the missus picks the fish, haha! Dorys and Nemos most likely!

That is impossible. You won't stand that tank in one week. Is she ready to do the maintenance and wc's? In no time you' ll have a small pred tank....

My daughter's 2 nemos are mandatory but they live in my small/growout eel tank, like that everybody wins.

Tanks arrived today and looks better than I hoped! Also my 50gpd 4 stage RO unit arrived :)

Will be ordering the Razor 160w tonight!!!!

If you've not ordered your lights yet might have something here - they do something where you can create your own programme for the lights such as the dimming and sun rise and it will do what you've programmed.

Thanks Ash seen it already, chinese lighting though mate dont really trust it. Razor is ordered now 160W 1600K...... nice blue glow! :)

most tangs will quickly outgrow a 3' tank but you should be able to have some of the smaller ones for a while, my best advice i can give you is to quarantine your fish. marine ich and other parasites/infections aren't nearly as easy to get rid of as their freshwater counterparts
