what are your nile perches eatting?? did you get them to eat anything besides live food? how long did it take?

live blackworms, chopped earthworms, and sometimes pieces of shrimp.

took a while before they began eating anything but live feeders. I simply starved them for a week, but during that period, I kept offering worms until they started eating them.

hmmm. i got some mealworms ima try. do you know if they'll do better with more of their own kind around or can i mix up the tank? what are good tankmates?

I grew mine with an endli and they didnt have any problems. Hes with a clost to 24" tsn, huge knife fish and channa micro. Lol, somehow, they've been cool for quite a while. Thoug the channa is about to be moved)
