Any reason why tapping into my cold-water line with a saddle valve (like you would to connect a fridge icemaker) and running the 1/4" tubing straight into an on/off valve and then into a drip emitter wouldn't work? I don't know what gph I'll need to set it at yet (1gph? for approx 10% system volume per day) but I do wonder if I should add a carbon filter inline with it to take care of chlorine/chlorine spikes. Theoretically it should disproportionate but I can be a worrier.
