And make sure when you add sand and do a water change, that you have fish safe chemicals to add to the water because sand is a rust magnet and it will build up very fast on things like rocks and heaters and air tubing in the tank if not taken care of

I used my fish net to get rid of the floating stuff left in my tank but it's fine for fish and I don't seem to have anymore problems other than those few which were easy to solve

After it clears up too, run a powerhead from the opposite end of your tank to make sure you have a lot of circulation because waste will build up and it's the only way to keep it flowing for bottom feeders to get to it and what not

Update on my tank. I've put filter sand in my 100 gallon. It looks awesome. I went to a new place and found some sand cheaper plus it's a different color than my other tank. I know it don't look like it but there are other fish in there. Just went I got the camera out every one but mr attention hid lol.
