Sump, you won't regret it. Good place to put heaters and tons of media. You could even do plants down there if you wanted. My vote is sump all the way.

Two Eheim 2262 will do the job just fine. I'd go canister.

I say sump. It allows for a more control, keeps the tank clutter free, and allow for a calm location to nurse fish back to health. It's like having two tanks in one

If I went with a sump do I just need a weir added to the tank? Will they automatically drill the bottom in the weir section for me? What size sump would I need for a 260 gal tank? Thanks for the help so far :)

I don't mind using a sump if it can be set up in a way to eliminate any chance of overflowing, what size of sump would I need to use for the tank?
