Your guys colors are more intense than mine, maybe I should try some market shrimp. Btw i lost my second biggest guy from unknown causes. It just wasted away 
thanks! And that sucks. not the first time I have heard of someone's retroculus died for no apparent reason. But I just want these fish to put on some size be as big as your retros. well some good news. My lapidifers color has all of the sudden improved over the past 2 days quite noticeably. His tail is getting even more red and right near the pelvic fin on its belly is getting a yellowish color. here are some pictures. hard to get good ones as he's always moving 
Awesome color, I've noticed that they have moods and when content they show their color more. When lights go on they have their stress marks and color is a little faded. My biggest guy's (which I almost lost too) color looks something like your guys. Recently got two bunches of geos and each intro may have caused some stress to cause them to waste away. I'll be posting a different thread on some dicrozosters and another bunch as soon as they get more size. Keep the updates coming! xingunesis too plz

It has been a while since I have posted pics of these two fish so here's a quick update. The patients is starting to pay off as these guys are starting to look better and better everyday. 
Wow nice xingunesis! How many you got? Looks like its about 4"? My single guy is about 3" and got less color than yours.
Thanks. I would probably say they're both around 4" aswell. I only have the one xingu and one lapidifer. Im really liking the redish color the xingu is getting.
