She doesn't know anything about snakes. We are all pretty ignorant when it comes to snakes around here. No offense to the snake lovers but they give me the heebeegeebees! I probably wouldn't have had the balls to kill it, I'd run as fast as I could lol. Our street has had at least 2-3 minimum sightings/encounters with copperheads every spring/summer.

PS oddly enough I did come face to face, literally, with a copper head. while digging a fight hole in the marines I looked up and it was in my face. It was a routine exercise in NC. I didnt jump that time I just didn't move a muscle. luckily my buddy saw it and chopped in half with an e-tool (shovel, axe combo)

I had a copperhead put me in the hospital once when I was a kid....ruined my whole summer.
