well, u got a 300 gallon Native tank, i'm sure there's only a few hundred people that would like to see that.........

my Lima IS around that size, but the issue is it a very very picky eater, won't touch pellets - wont eat anything except Silversides, Bloodworms and Earthworms. I give her fresh Tilapia, she spits it out.
It would be cool. I can keep some T. Vitattus and call it a native tank :D

ahh I see, I was a bit curious as most limas sold in the US turn out to be elongs, but anyways
Mine was also a picky eater, I was able to ween mine on to frozen tilapia and krill. with the typical offer it until they eat it approach.

nah, everyone said it's probably elongatus, so I started researching and reading and looking at pictures and researching and researching and re-researching, and it is definitely 100% Lima

Lone Wolf.....My larger Costa Rican (?) Dovii in his bare-bottom 30g long, probably 4". I know he needs a hidespace, but i'm thinkinh this wil keep him docile until I decide which of my cichlid community tanks he belongs in for now. He still eats like a pig, he's just very shy without a hidespace, before this he and my Motaguensis had a daily Deathmatch because they were fighting over caves and territory, so I moved both Dovii into their own tanks.
