So over the weeks, my pond has become more green and green. There is also some white stuff forming around the plants. I assume this Algae from the sun, but I'd like some expert opinions on what it is and what to do. There are 2 turtles, an RES, and a Belize Slider, plus a few Comets, minnows and 2 Carp.

The last picture is the water coming out of the filter.

I've been putting Duckweed, Azola, Parrots Feather and Water Lettuce in daily. Most of it gets eaten, but some is always left.

No thanks. Would it be safe to put some of that pond clear liquid?

why not use a UV lights, I can almost guarantee clearer water in a few days, I guess if you wanted you could buy a cheap-o and run it, it would take forever in that much water, but it would def. help clear it up. Pond clear is hit or miss, majority of the time its miss.

I'm trying to find a cheap way around this. I don't want to use UV.
