I was advised to try Fluval bug bites and Hikari vibra bites to increase the survival chances of baby pbass. They indeed started pounding them in 1-2 days with much gusto:

The LMBs left the pbass and arowana tank mates half fed, hence moved to a highly competitive tank next door:
