that, sir, is a risk I will certainly share with MFK if 150 gallons of water suddenly finds its way into my carpet padding.
It certainly is a risk. Not one I'd be liable to commit to with 150 gallons of water.

Im just down playing the significance of storing tanks empty. Im sure alot of it has to do with the conditions in which the tank is stored (humidity, temperature, exposure to uv light)

It's not always a deal breaker ..for me atleast

I just resealed my 135 and it sat empty for about 5 years then filled and started leaking after a year and sat empty again so hopefully I don't have one of those catastrophes. Definitely water testing first thiugh
