, i've tried keeping G.Tiles in the past when i didnt know better, and they died in less than 2 weeks in my tank (full freshwater)...
Had other friends experience the same thing when kept in fresh, never lasted more than 3 weeks max...
Then one day a few years back an old LFS store owner told me about how a friend of his had a moray in full fresh for over 3 years... At the time i was skeptical it was a G.Tile till he showed me a pic, then after a few years realized it was a G.Poly...
Also, having read so many conflicting reports, it seems that they have been found in locked bodies of freshwater in Australia by researchers, so while i cant say if they breed in fresh, they definitely seem to be able to live quite comfortably in fresh...
Infact, some researchers claim that they have never found a G.Poly in full marine conditions...
