Free, I have had people try to give me those for free when they hear how large my tank is. They know they are too big for any other tank.

Cheapest aro I ever bought at a lfs was $20 with no return policy because of they just droppes their feeding sac. Brought that boy home and watched him grow to 18 inches then sold him for $40. Easy fish to care for if ya know what your doing. OP probly bought either a old or already sick fish.

I would love to know were the $15 aros are there are none around were im at. Every 2 inch aro is $50 such a rip off. Anyways with no DE and it being a larger aro they can be worth adleast $125 to $150 IMO.
So you can get scarlet plecos for $175 but can't get aro's for less than $50? Screwy pricing in your neck of the woods sir.

I know I got totally screwed first I live in florida were almost every cool fish is illegal and they jack up the prices of rare fish. I'm definently moving in a couple of years. :(
