That's a european redfin perch (Perca fluviliatis). The american yellowfin perch (perca flavescens) has yellow fins (obviously) and stays smaller, but is otherwise the same.
Well American perch do indeed have red fins and they can be bright red as European perch do. Don't think I ever caught a perch with yellow fins, always red fins.

I heard they can have both. What's interesting is that lake constance is the only locale in europe with yellow-finned perch.

Perhaps the locality play a big role for have red/yellow fins. Diet also played a role too as I caught perch with red fins in waters with high densities of crayfish.

If I ever do another big tank, in addition to my ray tank, I'm filling it with tiny fish: guppies, platys, mollies, rainbow fish, oyocinclus, tetras, etc.
