thats exactly what Im trying to do with 75. Just hard finding the different fish. No bad aggression probs with all them together?
For the most part everyone lives peacably. The Larger Fontosa shows a bit of aggression to the smaller one if he gets too close. The Buescheri will give chase to anyone who invades his cave, as will the larger Gold Comp. The Transcriptus' will occasionally pick a fight with the Chalinochromis brichardi and the Calvus. The C. Brichardi just dart away, The Calvus just flair their scales and say "Yo Jeeves, back the F@#K off!" Generally it's peaceful. Most of the described aggression occurs for the first few days after a new tankmate is added.
The only aggression that was any cause for concern was at the introduction of the second Frontosa. The Tropheus and the larger Front targeted him pretty bad. He had to be put in isolation for about a month. Basically, i gave him a boot camp. I put him in with a aggressive little Kenyi hybrid who would harass him a bit, but wasnt large enough to do any damage. He spent the month regrowing his nipped up fins and learning to hold his own against the Kenyi. At the end of the month, he was reintroduced to the Tang community where he has adapted well. the Tropheus now leaves him alone, and the larger Front only bothers him if he gets any closer than about 2" from him. The Photos were all taken within the past two weeks and notice there are no nipped fins.

wow sweet fish i like the blue lights

very nice.. fish look great, some more than others..
specially like the appearance and setup of the tank!

they have a tropheus like that at my lfs. Do you try to feed him vegie food or does he eat anything you put in? thats my only concern with adding it.
My bichir keeps me from geting small fish  .
The Tropheus consumes just as much brine shrimp, shrimp pellet, and Flake food as the others. I do throw in the occasional algae wafer, but there is enough algae growth on the rockwork to sustain him for now. The only problem the tropheus adds is the it limits the foods available for the other fish, such as Bloodworms, Tubiflex worms, ect.

Nice looking setup.

those lamp comp. are HOT!!! nice fish
