I have been going to the same LFS for nearly 30 years,the original owners have both died and handed down thier store to thier daughter,she has turned the store only into a money maker and cares less for the long time customers.We used to be able to trade fish in ,get credit,and could count on not being lied to.Now even the sale people suck(lack of knowledge)One example is i listened to a sales girl tell a newbie that a Pacu could live in a 50 gal tank all its life!!!The quality of the fish has gone down,and so has the choice of fish.Meanwhile the prices just keep on rising!!:swear:
 
thats too bad, but seems to happen fairly often:(
maybe you should speak with them about their advice/lack of selection.
 
That sux it's too bad people are more interested in $$ rather than their customers happiness and continued business
 
I have spoken 2 times with the new manager,about thier choice of fish and thier prices,all i get back is...well we can order you anything you want.Heres an example of how that went,i ordered a barred Midas (something they used to have a lot)i paid 30 bucks for a 6 inch fish(not too bad)it has been 6 weeks since then and the guy i ordered it with got into a car accident(they said he is the only 1 that orders fish,so i have to wait for him to come back)everytime i demand my money back i end up standing in line for a half hour with no results,what do you guys suggest???:swear:

try to get store credit if there is something else you want. They will be more willing to do that.


or smash a tank
 
try for store credit. and then bring your business elsewhere. plenty of wholesalers on MFK that can get you pretty much whatever you want as long as its legal in you area

Tell them that you are unhappy about the new policies, and than while you are walking out...smash a tank
