I'm one of the worst people you should ask about the fishkeeping hobby getting out of hand. Cuz if you had asked me yesterday, I would have told you to do what I just did that morning...order another 10 450s.

Started with an inherited goldfish bowl (with goldfish) in May of 2004
then an upgrade to a 2.5 gal
then another 2.5 gal
then added a 10 gal
then a 29 gal
then a 65 gal
then a prototype DIY 18 gal
now in process a 195 gal
in planning stages a 265 gal...
Naw it's not out of hand yet - I can still afford Ramen noodles!

I think we will count the garage as downstairs once it's in...
I still stand by my feeling that every room should have at least one..
once the hobby gets ya thats it.
i went down to 1 tank after 20+ and vowed to stay that way but i am planning another tank probably a 3x2x2 for my chill out room.
