Hunt and fish in Essex:ROFL: What's the game, rats pigeons and roaches?

Vitaly, Iin order to understand politics you need to have a special mind. Personally I see it as a mental disease but it is matter of point of view. At the end all politics does, is satisfying the demands of 7 billion up-rooted and perverted humans. Consider yourself lucky that you don't understand it.[/QUOTE

O that’s harsh again shot by an American I catch quite big fish and yes Pidgins, Pheasants not those scrawny things but big wood pidgins for the pot and the part off Essex I live in is Green fields and farm land Me with fish my land rover and guns:p

Nice carp. I hope you didn't eat it though.

I am no American and even though I lived in countries like Russia, Canada and Argentina it never occured to me to hunt. Had I been born 200 years ago, I definitely would have. But in the year 2006 the very notion of hunting seems absurd. Sorry

As in jest just now I believe you said what do you hunt pidgins and rats well in a small way you were right they are vermin Pidgins are vermin and the end article is used as food. As for pheasants, like I state they are reared on the land round here for shooting and once again eaten. The argument is they have had a good free life not battery farmed the flesh tastes better. Do you eat meat? I don’t know but 75 percent of available fresh water, 35 percent of available land and 20 percent of all energy resources are currently used for food production; - between 1950 and 2000, the world's population doubled from 2.7 to 6.7 billion people while meat production increased fivefold from 45 to 233 billion kg per year. The FAO predicts a global population of 9 billion people in 2050, and meat production of 450 billion kg per year. I would rather have something like that than a deformed battery farmed chicken or a Trout fed on pellets and additives to make it pink. Ok you are right perhaps I should have said shoot and fish but there you go i still think the Whales deserve a chance if you like the carp have a look at this it’s some other Roach I have caught.

All put back not a bite was taken

And yes I can’t spell and have to put every thing through a spell checker but I am no carrot crunching gun toting Hill Billy:thumbsup:

well this may be a hippy way of feeling, but if anything, i dont think it should be hunt all you find, ever. i think that there should at least be a quota of the amount allowed or seasons or whatever. i dont think we have a right to wipe out any species, or lower numbers to the point it cant populate itself. whether it being whales or anything, i believe they are all here for a reason (not from higher power, but naturally i think they must all have a role). as to the whales its not a bad thing for them not to be fished.

I have no problem with your hunting or spelling. I don't hunt. But if you were to kill the last pheasant of Essex, it wouldn't bother me at all. God save the queen!

I caught carps of comparable size in Quebec. They are impossible to "open up" and if you do, they stink of silt, dirt and what not. Thet are full of mercury and whatever toxins. Frankly, I'd rather eat a pigeon or a rat.

I do eat meat but not much and I respect the source of it. Meat production is ecologically and economically insane.
