how far would you go to keep your prized fish???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That's a no-brainer... everything I do have and even money I don't have...the satisfaction and enjoyment I get from fish keeping is better for me than anything else I have ever done in my life...If I had to choose between my highblood pressure medication and fishkeeping Id still do fish...~Z

:iagree: :lol3: same for me she even said one night if i jumped into that tank or pond would you pay more atention to me. I looked her up and down and said you jump into my tank and we will be getting divorced for the second time but thats another story:naughty:

LOL too funny stotty....

T1 - i have a similar line that i use on my wife. I tell her i dont go out to clubs, smoke, drink and have a night out with the boys like i used to. My only thing now is to sit and watch the fish tank. So i tell her " You SHOULD be grateful that i took on this hobby/vice instead ".

Philhawk - macaroni and dollar menu everyday? Pretty hardcore dude !

sometimes i wonder if i should smoke, drink, smoke weed etc, etc and spend thousand a year on **** liek that.

if i cant enjoy my hobby what else can i enjoy doing in my spare time??

this hobby (along with my other animals and my love for them) is what kept me out of trouble in high school, might as well thow in the rest of my life as well (past and future).

a fish problem is more expencive than a drug problem

drugs you always need more = same with fish one is never enought

drugs you can do £200 per night = with fish you can do £200 in as long as it takes to put your new fish in the poly box :D

It's ok to "get in trouble" sometimes. I think what you really need is a fun night out on the town (drinking involved) You don't have to get hammered but get out and do some livin brotha. Drink a drink, smoke a cigarette, possibly even a little pot:WHOA: Don't just live to die bro Delgado get out there and show this world what's up:headbang2

As far as a prized fish, well once they are in my tank for me at least they lose some of their Wow factor. I think I like the research and the hunt more than actually getting the fish. Once I have it I am already on to the next conquest. This is probably why I can't keep a girlfriend either. But in terms of what I would do for a prized fish. I have already planned out in detail a trip to canada to bring back an arowana. My better judgement prevailed and I have since decided against this journey. Right now I would literally pay three times the "normal" price for a black ray and would also do just about anything to get my hands on an Asian Arowana, Channa pleurothalma or C Aurantimaculata. That is of course if they were legal:naughty:

Well I actually went pretty far to keep some of my fish.

I moved over 1000 miles from England to Spain, with the fish in a car in polyboxes with heatpacks and battery pumps, and shipped a 180 on a lorry from England to Spain. Even stopped off in a hotel with the fish.
