Agreed. It wasn't long ago I read an article about some idiots out West that threw two dogs onto a huge BBQ and closed the door. I can't wait until the day I see this type of **** in person. ;)

Well,
yeah,
but,

this is the government we're talking about. The POLICE officers where beating dogs to death.

That would never happen here.

yeah,
they killed dogs that were attacking them! Dogs that were left in houses and attacked police officers when they would go into the people's home looking for people that were lingering behind. Or dogs that were wandering the streets and had become aggressive from the disaster and were attacking people.

You guys dont seem to recognize the difference between a few random cases of abuse or police protecting themselves
and the slaughter of 50,000 dogs that were owned by people and were beaten to death in the street.

Of course dogs are killed here. I'm not saying they arent killed here.
I'm SAYING that they arent slaughtered in mass droves and beaten to death in the street.

CRYPES :nilly:

Well, the Communist Party isn't exactly known for its treatment of people either. It's estimated that Mao killed between 10 and 20 million people during his 25+ year reign.

:iagree:

There are cases of dogs being killed in the U.S. but not even close to this........this was the government going out and slaughtering harmless pets......i agree some of em had rabies, but there's a vaccine ...........this could have been prevented........i hope PETA does something about it...........

....i hope PETA does something about it...........

F&%K PETA. I hope some reputable organization does something about it.
Actually, the international outcry as well as the internal outcry will probably end up changing some of China's policies. I wouldn't count on it, but maybe....
