You are going to be paying at least $150 if not more if you are even going to be able to locate one close to you. You may be able to get one from the community sellers and you will pay well over $200 due to shipping.

Also there is also a very slim chance that your LFS can even get them. I have asked all of my LFS if they can get them and they haven't had them on there list of fish they can get for well over a year. Last time I a black aros in a LFS was over 2 years ago.

Good luck on finding one, but expect to pay a good amount of money for it. If I was you though, I would just go for a silver. I like them better than blacks whether the silver has drop eye or not.

Wow, that a long time, and only 15in. That aro will never reach it's full potential, sad to hear that. But never the less, they already had it, may be harder for them to get them now.

i felt really bad because it was in a 10gallon they also have a 15" FW tarpon in a 10gallon

I guess I was REALLY REALLY lucky with my Black. I got a 22 incher for 150.00 CDN.The store owner wanted 200.00 but I talked him down due to severely damaged fins on the fish. It has almost all grown back and it is doing great. I actually ordered a 230 Gallon tank for it. Funny eh...you spend 150.00 on a fish and 1500.00 plus on it's new home.It is currently living in a 120 with a 12 inch Id Shark and doing well. Cant wait for the new tank to arrive.
