363 gallon build 92x34x36

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Looking good mate, can't wait to see it finished.

thanks and me too!! i am literally losing sleep over it haha... right now its past 3am where i live and i am mfk'ing it up and searching ebay for bulkhead fittings.

its raining out pretty bad today so i decided to start some work on the filtration. two holes drilled and i have one to go for the dirty water outlet. there are going to be 2 sumps and an fx5 plumbed closed loop to this tank. two overflows on the right side of the tank will feed a 55 gallon sump that i already have made and is currently filtering my 240. and another overflow on the left will feed a 25 gallon refugium that will overflow into the 55 and return to the tank. there will also be clean water dripping into the system 24/7 that is the reason for the dirty water outlet, so i dont have to manually change water. am sure most of you know about 24/7 water changers. anyway, the fx5 will be plumbed to two bulkheads in the tanks bottom. they will be buried in the gravel to help with the massive poops my fish take and any other solid waste in the substrate. thanks for looking more pics and progress to come. P.S. i moved the tank into the shower and closed the curtain so that i could easily wash away all of the glass dust.

Nice build. The tank is built like a "tank". Can't wait to see it filled and stocked.

HAHA !! thanks, me either. unfortunately i am at a stand still waiting for my pond armor to ship. everytime i order something from FLA. it takes weeks and weeks to get to me, uggg.

Nice work.

http://www.aquaticeco.com/ check here for bulkhead fittings, this is where I got mine.

I would feel better over building for a first tank, I lost a couple nights sleep when I got my ply build in the house thinking I under built it. Well now a year later it is still fine and I am planning my next tank.

Keep up the great work.
