Hi I am new to Arowana hobby. I have set up my tank for a few week now to get it to Cycle. I have look on Aquabid, I saw a guy selling an Australian XB , but he want $250 for a 5-6 in. Are they worth it? Does anyone know a reliable seller ? And are those seller from Cameroon be trusted? They are saying they can ship red/gold Arowana to the USA. Please help me, u am looking for trusted and good price on the fish. Thank you.

Hi,

You can only buy in US: Silver Arowana (very common), Black Arowana or Jardini (less common), African Arowana (rare).

What size of tank do you have ?

You must decided what do you want to buy. I recommended Black Arowana or Jardini, but Jardini is much more aggressive than Black Arowana and it hard to keep Jardini with another fish.

I always buying fish from: Snookn21 on Aquabid. Very good seller and he got now Silver and Black Arowana.

If you want Jadini you can check Seller:Petzonesandiego.

Even if you have the opportunity to buy the Asian Arowana in the U.S. I strongly advise you do not buy this fish in US, it can cost you very dearly. You probably received already some PM with "good" deals to buy these fish, but I suggest you: just forget about it.
