That's what I was thinking, same thing happened to me. IT got cloudy/pop eye and it cleared up within a week. Thanks for confirming what I thought I should try though.

Its a really nice looking fish i would of picked this up myself if i had seen it.

Thanks everyone, I'm really glad I picked this guy up. I'm going to start treating the eye(s) today with Melafix and hopefully within a week or two I can post some good pictures with a much happier NGT.

I don't think it's a decent bargain, even if it was £20!

However, I am sure that Gage will look after it the best he can. Which is the main thing... Hopefully it's just really bad cloudy eye and will clear Up in time. If this is the case and it turns out it's not blind, then it will be a decent bargain.
