Great looking fish...I love mine but ohh they give me a hard time. I originally got 7 at 1" and all but 2 died (bloat). Then I got 3 at about 6-7" and the larger female and single male seemed to be playing through the divider so I pulled it. They did some chasing lip locking and what not. The next morning the male was just about dead and finally did die a few days later. Then I got 5 more 1-2" to go with the other 2 and 1 died and one jumped out. Now the other 5 decided to stop eating....arrgh! I did get another large male and have had the 3 larger ones divided in a tank for several months now. I wont try putting them together until I move them into a bigger tank...and it wont be overnight this time...so keep an eye on yours with the divider out. Good luck!
I wish you luck on yours too bro, Usually when im pairing fish out it takes me a few times of pulling the divider and depends on their behavior before i try an overniter. I havent had any lip locking yet. the female just swims around and the male follows so far, thats why im second guessing my sexing job but we'll see
